Send a parcel to Canada

Delivery zone 10

Parcelforce make delivering to Canada easy, with a convenient range of booking options and the reassurance that we partner with local experts to ensure your parcel reaches its destination.

Shipping from the UK to Canada

There are over 200,000 British expats living in Canada, and its popularity as a holiday destination as well as for students on working and travel visas, means a constant stream of parcels making their way from the UK to Montreal, Vancouver, and everywhere in between. When shipping to Canada, do bear in mind that mail is not delivered on Saturdays, and that how long it takes to send a parcel to its Canadian destination will depend on customs, as well as the service you choose.

Our globalexpress service offers delivery from as little as 1 working day and is ideal for important documents and items as it comes with full tracking, and named confirmation of delivery. Where tracking isn't a requirement and speed isn't so much of an issue, our cheaper globalpriority ROW service should suit. General Advice
  • In order to ensure a delivery on time, please ensure that your parcel has the full, correct address, an email address in the correct format and a mobile or landline number for the intended recipient. This will help the delivery partner to ensure the parcel is delivered correct first time. This should be clearly marked on the parcel.
  • Timescales shown above do not include delays caused by destination country customs processes. Please be aware that customs could add additional time to your parcel delivery.

    globalexpress parcels

  • To avoid delivery / customs issues, our carrier partners request that a full name is mandatory for globalexpress parcels (e.g. Mr John Smith)
  • Passports and other forms of identification (e.g. birth certificates, visas and driving licences) if sent using globalexpress must be classified as “Proof of Identity” and shown clearly on the relevant customs declaration.  In addition, such forms of ID can be delayed by at least 24 hours as they are subject to additional security checks by officials which are outside of our control. Therefore, such items are not covered by our normal delivery guarantee, and no compensation is available if they are delayed as a result.
  • globalexpress transit times are based upon collection times, sender and recipient locations.
